Happy 1st Birthday, Jack!

Yesterday was Jack’s first birthday which was obviously more of a celebration for me than it was anyone in the house. Jack had already had his birthday party in September so we could avoid flu season, so it seemed like any other day for him. And Matt had to teach until 8pm, so Jack and I just hung out until Matt got home. Then….we broke out the cupcakes!

So, here is the evening in photographs for you to enjoy.

So, evidently, Jack doesn’t like icing and isn’t all that jazzed about chocolate, but loved the pumpkin spice cupcake (which tasted more like carrot cake).

Thank you for all the birthday wishes. Jack’s big day was a big success.
