Come join Team Jack at the 2012 Cincinnati Walks for Kids on October 20. This 3-mile walk through Coney Island benefits the sick and injured children at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The wheelchair, stroller and wagon friendly route is a great way to share stories and build camaraderie before it transitions to a children’s carnival, face painting, rides and lunch.
Team Jack is entered as a walking team and anyone and everyone is invited to join in the fun. We have designated our donations to go to the Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research Team which consists of all key players who helped save Jack’s life; but you are also able to designate your donations to other groups and/or departments. A minimum of a $25 donation will award each walker a Cincinnati Walks for Kids t-shirt. Matt and I are also working on turquoise, tie dye ‘Team Jack’ t-shirts and Jack will be on the walk in his obnoxiously decorated stroller.
And if you do not want to walk on October 20, you are still welcome to make a donation and we will walk in your honor. Cash, checks and credit card donations are welcome and greatly appreciated.
